(Detroit, MI) -- A date for Kwame Kilpatrick's arraignment hearing on a probation violation charge could be set as early as today. A decision by the Michigan Court of Appeals last Friday cleared the way for Wayne County Judge David Groner to schedule Kilpatrick's next appearance. The former Detroit mayor did not meet a revised restitution schedule set by Groner. It required a 79-thousand-dollar payment by February 19th. Kilpatrick's attorney Michael Schwartz has said that Kilpatrick does not have the money and will plead not guilty at the hearing.
