(Lansing, MI)  --  Former Genesee County Treasurer Dan Kildee will reportedly end his short-lived run for governor today.  According to "Inside Michigan Politics," Kildee made the decision to leave the Democratic primary after the United Auto Workers Union decided to support Lansing Mayor Verg Bernero.  Kildee only took the first steps to enter the race two weeks ago.  His departure would leave Bernero, House Speaker Andy Dillon, and state Representative Alma Wheeler Smith as the only Democratic candidates.
